Who am I?

Good question – who am I? My name is Christian Stankowic, I’m 27 years old and live in the State of Hesse. Since I was a child I’m interested in the grey boxes that help us to solve problems we hadn’t had without them. 🙂

After working as a full-time IHK instructor and IT administrator (Linux, Unix and VMware) for a long time, I’m working as a Senior Consultant at VMware now.

I’m using my blog as a digital notepad to write down IT stuff that I’m going in for. So I and others (true to the open source manifesto) have always the possibility to access the topics I worked out.

Beside IT-specific topics I’m also intered in different things – I wish a day could have 48 hours.. 😉

    • Hi Edgar,

that’s a good idea. As you might have seen I developed this utility couple of years ago (2010).
Currently it’s only possible to create one contact at the same time.

Creating multiple contacts sound like a good feature. Maybe I’m catching this up in the future and upgrade the utility.

Give me a couple of weeks to have a look on it! 🙂

      Best regards form Germany,
      Christian.

  1. Hi! I saw your answer a long time ago but i forgot to write you back. I am working on a college project right now, I think the current version of the vCard will be enough for my current needs.

Regards from Costa Rica! And we won against Uruguay today, party time! 😀 Pura vida!

  2. Just came across your site while looking for info about Logitech M500 since I had to get a mouse after nearly 20(!) years with my Logitech Trackman Marble which they don’t produce any longer (at least it really worked well for such a long time) 🙁

Just some suggestions: I think with “Hesse” you mean “Hessen, Germany” (non-Germans may not even know where “Hessen” is)? If you intended to demonstrate you English skills, you should also check the remaining translation (“Besite” -> “Besides”, “intered” -> “interested”, “succcessfully” -> “successfully” etc.).
